ArtraPeople

The app now connects to a Supabase stack running locally in Docker, not the hosted EU test project. Test email messages are captured on this computer instead of being delivered externally. Hosted Supabase, Upstash, Resend and Sentry production integrations are not activated by this change. Google sign-in remains unavailable until separately configured. Use synthetic data only.

Frequently asked questions

Can I register or recover access by phone?

No. Phone and SMS authentication are disabled. Use email. Never send passwords or recovery codes to support.

Can I reply without professional verification?

Profiles are private drafts until explicitly published. Discovery exposes only the professional display name, role, city/country, practice, interests, collaboration preferences and reviewed status. Legal names, birth dates, gender, email addresses, private image previews and evidence links are not published. Messages are accessible to conversation participants through account permissions; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Database operators have privileged technical access. Sender deletion replaces message text with a tombstone. A previously reported message can remain as a restricted safety-case snapshot.

Blocking prevents sending in either direction. Read receipts, conversation mute preferences, limited-rate messaging and reports are stored in the database. Reports have no connected automatic operator alert or review dashboard yet. For support, email support@artrapeople.com. This mailbox is not monitored continuously.

What happens if the connection stops?

In database test mode, Supabase Auth stores email accounts, password hashes, confirmation/recovery state, authenticator factors and sessions. The local PostgreSQL database stores each account's private profile draft, limited image previews, saved searches, contacts, chat drafts and conversations. These records survive application and database-container restarts. Language/theme choices and the pending email-verification step may remain in browser storage. Existing shared browser-demo records are neither imported nor erased automatically.

Can I change language and theme?

Use the selector for English, Russian or Kazakh and the sun/moon button for the theme. Your browser remembers the choice when storage is allowed.

How can I recognise a possible scam?

Warning signs include pressure to act quickly, unexpected fees to secure an exhibition or sale, requests to return an overpayment, suspicious payment links, requests for passwords or sign-in codes, copied portfolios, or claims of representing a gallery that cannot be independently confirmed. A warning sign is a reason to check, not proof that someone is a scammer.

Check the organisation through its official website and contact details you find independently. Clarify the work, payment and deadlines in writing. A verification badge does not guarantee honest behaviour or a successful collaboration. Never share passwords or sign-in codes.

What should I do if I suspect a scam?

Do not hesitate to report suspicious behaviour—you do not need to prove fraud first. In the conversation, select Report and choose Impersonation or fraud. Describe the specific behaviour where the reporting form allows it. Save relevant messages, profile links and payment references; do not send identity documents or passwords as evidence.

Stop sending money or sensitive information and use Block to stop further messages. Reporting and blocking are separate actions. If you have already paid, contact your payment provider promptly. A disappointing collaboration is not automatically fraud; report the facts rather than making public accusations.

In the public demo, reports are saved only on your device and are not delivered to a moderator. In account mode, follow the submission confirmation; a saved report does not guarantee an immediate response.

Does ArtraPeople give people ratings?

No. There are no public stars or numeric collaboration scores. An optional private check-in asks whether a collaboration went well, not as hoped, or has not happened yet. If it did not go as hoped, you can explain why. An outcome answer does not submit a safety report—use Report separately when needed.
